Korea: Mouthwatering Makchang

It’s rare that I can blog about a true festivus gastronomicus on the Festivus Gastronomicus, but there’s no better way to describe the amazing Thanksgiving dinner we had last month. (Sorry for lagging on this)

As I mentioned before, Meatland is amazing. Having a nice cheap butcher on your street makes a big difference in your quality of life.

I posted before about how much I love living in Hyde Square, but I had yet to discover all the amazing foods to be had here.
Not only is Meatland all it’s cracked up to be (it provided a succulent Thanksgiving turkey), but all little markets and eateries around here are impressive. Not the least of which is the market at the corner which sells GIANT avocados for next to nothing.
Behold it’s awesome force!

Jenny and I went to have dinner with Amy and Aaron, and Otis. I hadn’t seen Amy and Aaron in about a year and it’s been ages since Amy , Jenny and I have been together. All this wonderful splendiferousness of visiting with my good friends was enhanced by a tasty meal cooked up by Amy- all by herself.
